For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), Curintech is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. Personal Data We Collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the following personal data:

  • Full name: to address you in our response and maintain a record of our contact.

  • Email address: to send our reply to your enquiry.

  • Phone number: to contact you by phone if relevant or more efficient for the subject matter.

  • Company / organization: to understand the professional context of your enquiry.

  • Message / enquiry text: to understand what you are asking and respond appropriately.

  • Reason for contact: to route your enquiry to the right person within our team.

We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health data, political opinions, or biometric data) through this form.

We also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit our Website (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited). This is handled by the Wix platform — see Section 7 for details.

3. How We Use Your Data and Our Lawful Basis
We only use your personal data for the purposes of reading and responding to the message you submitted via our contact form, following up with you about our services where your enquiry suggests a potential business relationship and maintaining an internal record of correspondence for organizational and administrative purposes. The purpose is deemed as Legitimate Interest under the lawful basis of GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

Legitimate Interests Balancing Test: We have assessed that our legitimate interests in the above processing activities are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. You have proactively chosen to submit your personal data to us via our contact form, which creates a reasonable expectation of follow-up. You have the right to object to any processing based on our legitimate interests at any time — see Section 8.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data collected through the contact form for a maximum of 10 years from the date of last contact between us. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted or anonymised, unless we are required by law to retain it longer (for example, for accounting or tax purposes).

If you exercise your right to object to commercial follow-up or ask us to stop contacting you, we will promptly remove your data from our active contact records and retain only a minimal suppression record to ensure your preferences are honoured.

5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

We share your data only with the following service providers, who act as our data processors and are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions and to implement appropriate security measures:

  • Wix.com Ltd    Website hosting and contact form processing — Wix stores form submissions on our behalf.    wix.com/about/privacy

6. International Data Transfers
Switzerland and the EU/EEA: Curintech is based in Switzerland. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision recognising Switzerland as providing an equivalent level of data protection to the EU. Personal data may therefore be transferred between Switzerland and EU/EEA countries without additional safeguards.

Wix and the United States: Our Website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd, whose servers and infrastructure are located in the United States and potentially other countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Wix relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the legal mechanism for transferring personal data from the EU/EEA to its US infrastructure. You can review Wix's international transfer safeguards at wix.com/about/privacy.

  • Essential / functional:  Necessary for the Website to operate (e.g., security, load balancing, form functionality). Placed by Wix and always active.

  • Analytics:  Track aggregated usage patterns to help us improve the Website. No personally identifiable tracking.   Opt-in required

  • Marketing / third-party: Any third-party tracking or advertising cookies from plugins installed on the Website.  Opt-in required

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie consent banner displayed when you first visit our Website. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling essential cookies may affect Website functionality. For a full list of cookies placed by Wix, see the Wix Cookie Policy.

8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data. Swiss residents have equivalent rights under the nFADP. To exercise any right, please contact us using the details in Section 13.

  • Right of access (Art. 15): Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and information about how we process it.

  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): Ask us to delete your personal data. We will comply unless we have a legal obligation or overriding legitimate interest to retain it.

  • Right to restriction (Art. 18): Ask us to suspend processing of your data while a dispute is resolved (e.g., if you contest its accuracy).

  • Right to portability (Art. 20): Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and/or request that it be transferred to another controller.

  • Right to object (Art. 21): Object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests — including commercial follow-up. If you object, we will stop that processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

  • Automated decisions (Art. 22): We do not use solely automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We will respond to your request within 30 days. For complex requests, this period may be extended by a further 60 days, and we will notify you of the extension and reason. There is no charge for exercising your rights.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe we have processed your personal data unlawfully.

  • Switzerland — Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): edoeb.admin.ch

  • EU/EEA — You may contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence or the country where the alleged infringement occurred. A full list is available at edpb.europa.eu/members.

We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns directly before you contact a supervisory authority.

10. How We Protect Your Data
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, disclosure, or destruction. Our Website is hosted on the Wix platform, which holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications and applies industry-standard security measures including data encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.

No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
